The first Tapyme device is a simple tap tag.

Tier 1 is a screenless NFC + QR tag beside the card reader. The tag stores only a fixed Tapyme link; the backend decides which current receipt is available. It never touches card data and never replaces your terminal.

The powered display concept remains a future premium tier. The first sellable version is the simple NFC + QR tag.

Future premium hardware

A digital version comes after the starter tag wins.

The display device is still useful for premium merchants: it can show the amount, ready status, QR and branded prompts. But it should wait until Tier 1 and Tier 2 prove demand.

Built for the counter

Nothing to install. Nothing to fear.

Tapyme is not a payment terminal and never replaces one. It receives the receipt after your POS approves the sale, and hands it to the customer's phone. Tier 1 setup is assign the lane, write the tag URL, place it beside the card reader.
